Dear Joshua,

Thank you for all your support.  My prayer is that our Creator God will allow both you and all the delegates bring both hope and peace to all you meet and bring glad tidings of strength to thoses living with HIV/AIDS, that they will know we love them and care for them.

Peace.
Rev Leigh Neighbour.

Dear Joshua and MCC Delegates at AIDS 2008,

Thank you so much for sending us an update from the AIDS Conference. As is always the case, you have touched my heart. I will hold you and your colleagues in prayer throughout the week. I trust that God will provide you the courage, the stamina and strength that you need to make it through the challenges you face.

Love and blessings,

I offer my prayers and sincere thanks to all who are working to bring an end to AIDS.

Please pray for me and all those who participated in the National AIDS Marathon Training Program this season. We’ve been training for 6 months, raising nearly $700,000 for the SF AIDS Foundation. This Sunday, August 3rd, is our big day: we will run the SF Marathon and Half Marathon.

In a sea of 17,000 runners, there will be about 300 of us with our goldenrod AIDS Marathon singlets, each one of us keeping hope alive for an end to AIDS.

Hugs and blessings to you,

Francisco

God:

Thank you for those who are continuing to raise up the awareness of AIDS and its global impact.

Be with all those who are affected by HIV/AIDS and, as citizens of your world, help us to raise our voices to those in power who make decisions about AIDS funding and AIDS care provision. May we be vigilant and ensure that this health crisis is given its due consideration and funding.

We pray for a cure and hope to inspire those who are working on a cure.

May the participants in the 200 International AIDS Conference know that what they do is vital and a part of the social justice that you talk about when you say, “May your new realm come on earth as it is in heaven.”

Together we can make a difference.

Blessings, peace, joy and love be to all peoples, now and evermore.

Amen.
